After a long evening in the Lincoln A&E, we booked into this hotel late at night. They could not have been more accommodating to us - Paul the owner went above and beyond! He was so caring and made my husband sandwiches and gave him a beer (whilst waiting) late in the evening when the kitchen was closed to take back to the hospital. When we got to the room, it was absolutely perfect! A boutique feel with attention to detail! I couldnt recommend this hotel enough - it is the perfect place for anyone who likes things to be done to a high standard! The staff were incredible, the breakfast menu superb. These are people who are passionate about high standard service with staff who are rewarded and cared for by their down to earth and warm owner. This is nothing short of a PERFECT hotel.
Always great food for the price and good friendly service
An excellent meal and evening at the castle, chef Simon is a gem and quality shows in his cooking. We personally found the portions very generous and would have been happy to experience more of a tasting format from the chef of the year. We will be back with the value for money and quality produced.
We spent three great nights at The Castle Hotel and were very impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the room, the lovely friendliness of the staff and the delicious breakfasts. Would not hesitate to visit again.
