Possibly the most unwelcoming gym I've ever used. The staff Anita especially have a very poor customer relations technique today she objected to the way I dropped a dumbbell while training. Rather than introducing herself as a member of staff I was given a whole load of demands in an aggressive tone in front of a busy gym ending with well I work here. She didn't identify herself at the beginning and was not in uniform. Appalling customer service. Even a fellow member commented how aggressive she was. Now I want to leave and that is another load of problems apparently they want me to pay 3 months more for nothing even though I've not been for 3 months and paid. The last threat is debt collectors. Now there adding charges so I agreed to pay the 3 months for nothing now their saying they want an extra 10 on top for something it appears joining is easy but leaving is not. So they want members to pay 55 to leave their gym for no membership I don't know of any business that operates where you pay to leave and get nothing for your money. Go to a better gym. I'm also told if I don't pay by the 10122018 they are going to add further charges. This is from a company that won't accept payment I think this is very very naughty. I will keep this updated as they add charges. Well a threatened they added another 10.00 charges and apparently they will add 1.00 per day until I pay.I find this a bit extreme to leave a gym personally.We have another problem which is when they refused payment off me I gave it to the Terrance Higgins trust as a donation. But now sports direct want it back. Awkward.18/12/2018 now 64.97.Jan 24th 2019 74.97 and referel to debt collection agency.
Always a welcoming team, not too busy during peak times.
it's a gym,if you need someone to take an interest in helping you get fit,i would advise go somewhere else
I would not recommend. Staff broke into my locker for leaving my kit overnight. I was never informed of the policy despite being a member for over one year. Staff and manager happy to explain I can have a locker for 5 a month. Unfortunately I could not enjoy a swim today because staff destroyed my lock and refused to replace.
Love this place could do with a few more weight machines. Staff great and always full of good people
