I am writing this review on behalf of my wife. She was advised by Mr Humphrey on second opinion that she was likely to require a root canal, and to ring back when required, and she would be seen same day. She duly completed registration forms as an NHS patient but crucially was not told about the requirement for a further "initial checkup". Cue yesterday, when in agony with toothache, being told she was "not one of our patients" by a very unhelpful receptionist, who told her to call back in the morning, and then denied her an emergency slot. I cannot comment on the standard of treatment, but the issue was one of particuarly poor communication. The surgery have point blank refused that they might be in the wrong. She has paid to go private in order to guarantee being seen today. The surgery has since called back but it's too little, too late.
Exceptional job from Dr. Wilson who is always kind and calming. Very grateful for such a friendly service.
I have recently join this practice been now 4 times with problems. I can honestly say Mr. Wilson is great and the staff are lovely, I cannot fault this practice so far and would not hesitate in recommending it,only downside so far is the car park which is small and always full.
Excellent practice, same day emergency appointments, NHS rates, no daft insurance schemes. Dr Wilson is amazing; been looking after our family teeth for 10 years now, including a miraculous repair of a chipped front tooth that I thought I'd have to live with. Good as new within 10 minutes and just 24! The only issue can be parking, but if you carry on down the road and check all the parking signs (most are permit only during the day but you'll find some areas where you can park for 2 hours about 5 minutes walk away).
I cant believe these awful reviews! I have medical issues which complicate my dental care and Mr Humphries has been nothing but kind and helpful to me. I have a broken tooth which needs urgent care and am dreading having to explain everything to another dentist. I wish it wasnt the weekend and I could go to see Mr Humphries.
