Had a car through this firm as my car broke down and I was entitled to a hire car through the RAC. I had the car delivered and picked up as I live 40 mins away. They charged me for the delivery and pick up which I accepted as it takes someone time to do this. Before they picked it up I filled the tank as told I had to. I have since been charged for topping the fuel up when it got to Lincoln even though when it arrived it wasnt full. Was told by the delivery man that I wasnt responsible for delivery fuel, only to be told that was wrong. Delivery/pickup was 14 in total so they charged me just under 20 for 20 miles of fuel!!
Very helpful staff we couldn't get on with the car we where given as a courtesy car with our child they swapped it for us the same day we called.
We rented a car trough RENTALCARS basically Europcar has an agreement with them so they should respect the policy of RENTALCARS... They don't. We tried to pick Up the car we payed for and the woman (hey rude and agressive) said that Spanish driving licence, Spanish ID and Spanish credit card is not enough. She need a confirmation that we live in UK. So... We have to go everywhere with the flat contract? Hmmm our permanent address is in Spain! And this is EU for God sick... The credit card, ID and Driving Licence IS all you need to rent a car but not for them... In "EUROP"car you have to be BRITISH...just take my advice and change the name for BREXITcar.
Very bad. rude and racists They didnt want to rent us a car without any explanation. She question if we were in uk ligally even though we have a eu passport and uk is still in eu! And then instead than giving information about why we couldnt rent a car she called the police! Worst service ever! We paid in advance and still waiting to have the money back.
Worst experience ever. I was not allowed to pick up the car claiming that I did not provide proof that I reside in Lincoln. I arrived from Spain 1 month ago, my NIN has been approved and I am in the process of receiving it by letter. I've rent a flat for a month through a private landlord and thats not enought for them... Meanwhile Im in process, Im an european citizen and I have right to be 3 months as a tourist living in the country and in consequence, to rent this car without any other proof that my passport, ID and driving license, which are the documents that I requested through email to be able to pick up the car. I do not recommend using this company to anybody, never mind to foreigners. Besides this, they forced me to leave rhe establishment in very bad ways.
