Didnt eat in the restaurant as it was closed. We stood outside and marvelled at the building. It almost seems a miracle that it is still standing. Doesn't seem to be a straight line in any of the walls. Suppose as it has stood for hundreds of years its not going to fall down now
Lovely building and interesting tasting menu. Most of the courses were very good but hot belly pork with an overly strong Miso glaze with a prawn didn't complement icy melon sorbet on the same plate. Service was a little slow at times, staff were friendly.
We were a party of four who dined last evening at the Jews House Restaurant. The service offered by Sam and her team was exceptional. We were blown away by the taster menu created by the Head Chef / Co-owner Gavin. This was a special evening of fine dining in lovely surroundings. Fine dining at its best
Lunch time deal is incredible value for money. Wine is great - house white by the glass is lovely. Service is attentive but not obtrusive. Very pleasant lunch experience.
Tasting menu this time, getting towards the end of summer but they continue to present simply superb seasonal dishes. What can you add? Lovely atmosphere, tasteful decor, understated quality service.
