A very average lamb pie accompanied by a poor amount of mash potato and a few bits of vegetables. All for the grand sum of 13. It is pie and mash ! This costs 6.50 where I come from and is far superior. They offer the above on the large menu a front of shop at 6, but read carefully, this is "on the go" .... Much closer to what it's worth.
Great food! You also get the choice between pastry lid or totally encased pie...Busy, but service was good and the food well worth the wait.

Our first time visiting browns pie shop and we will be going back again......wow the chef is obviously talented looking at the menu, flavours of foods that compliment each other were a plenty and definitely not shy of offering choices that are different. The place is quite small or cramped but not too small it's a cost place to eat the staff are very friendly too.
Went here for a lunch with family. Very busy, but the staff very attentive . Quickly clearing and setting up a table for us . 3 of our party had pies, different fillings and delicious. Potatoes and veg fresh and hot. 1of our party had the soup, curried roasted parsnip and courgette (l think). This was delicious, served with freshly baked bread. Not disabled friendly due to stairs. Would go again and recommend this restaurant
