Another interesting place to visit in Lincoln , lots of history, facts, the building has been well preserved, part of the building has great views over Lincoln , the gardens are also very nice in summer,
Renovation work on going till 2021 so you cant access much of the site. It was free to see the displays inside and go up the tower next to the shop on the day we went.
Worth a visit, but it is undergoing needed restoration for a while so you only see part of the place
At the time most of the buildings are closed due to renovations, but still a cool place to explore
Disappointing, as we had made a special trip to Lincoln to visit here being an English Heritage member. Most of it was closed off, although there was a helpful indoor information room and small shop. Outdoors there was very little information and not a lot to see and no audio headsets. We will visit again once the works have been completed.
