A great place to visit. Good for all the family, lots of children activities on certain weekends. Lovely caf for food and drink. Tours are free they go every hour during winter and about every half an hour during summer. An interactive exhibition highlighting the role of the bomber command during the second world war.
no path from the drop off circle to the front door. the building gave the impression of a glass walled cinema. exit to the spire has to be through the cafe. had difficulty finding a relative's name at the spire due to the alphabetical set out. the parking charge of 3-00 for a day is expensive considering that a maximum of two hours is needed for a visit
This is both an amazing and sobering experience. The new building is absolutely stunning: the exhibits are respectful, clear and interesting (and yet not too many of them); there are some explanatory films; and there is a lovely cafe. Outside, the spire and memorial walls are again stunning. Set against the backdrop of Lincoln, it's a great 2-3 hour visit.
What an amazing place. It was fascinating, so much to read, great selection of books in shop and even the building itself is gorgeous. Great views of Lincoln cathedral too.
Nice place for a memorial. Good views over Lincoln and great tribute to the ones that sacrificed their lives. Cafe was warm as it was a cool day walking around the spire. Good choice of food and drink in the cafe. I can't comment on the exhibition, didn't go into that part.
