Went in on a thursday 10am to send off my brothers train ticket as he needed to it on saturday to come back. I asked the lady whether i just required a first class stamp for it to get there by Saturday she said we csn guarantee it by tomorrow if you pay for signed first class delivery, 6 pound something! For a sheet of paper. So i paid my dues because i wanted it to get there, it didnt arrive on the Friday but the saturday 3 hours after my brothers train , so we waisted not only 49 on the ticket and postage but we had to buy another ticket when they couldnt deliver what id asked and paid for online. Would not recommend to a friend
Was a great local post office, but the new ownership has "modernised". It's now bleak and set up to get the kids to nag for toys. Avoid and go to Bailgate.
Don't know what the previous reviewer is on about. This has always been a post office for as long as I can remember which is over 40 years. Obviously it has changed hands a few times over the years. The current staff are very friendly and helpful. A top notch service.
