We loved it! Picked a table near a window as it had a heater under the window as it was cold outside. Service was exceptionally good. The food was delicious with big portions it really does mean large. The only downside was there was a little how did we do card on the table but no pen or pencil to fill in!
Just had an enjoyable Senior Special, a smaller portion of haddock and chips with pot of tea and bread and butter. Food excellent and freshly cooked. Service quick and friendly. A popular place for lunch with easy parking.
Really nice food and drink plus the service here was really good. The place is warm and cozy and great for eating fish and chips or its many other tasty menu options. Definitely recommend this place for an evening meal to dinner especially for family or friends meals or even special occasions with their menu special which changes regularly. The stars.
So really fancied a chippy tea last night, went in and naturally the place was busy. But the 3 girls that were serving last night, I really have to say, I was massively impressed with you all. They were so on the ball, considering how busy they was, the waiting time was incredibly minimum. Hats off to you all and to your incredibly memories :) Fish and chips were incredible as always.
Visited for the first time in ages last night. The restaurant was quite busy at 18:30 but we had no problems getting a table.Service was very good and the drinks arrived very quickly after ordering. The menu is varied with a good selection of dishes. There is also a daily specials board.The haddock was cooked to perfection with lovely light crispy batter. The portions are very generous. No room for dessert here.Top marks.
