Fantastic day out in Lincoln yesterday, travelled a couple of hours to the shop and was not disappointed. Reserved a Tyros 3 with Michael the day before and went to collect Saturday. Staff was friendly and not pushy at all, Michael knew his stuff. Been playing around with it since I got home and loving it.Thanks to all who made my experience so good.
Having done much research I called to see/hear several ukuleles and to get a"feel for them" in the flesh. I think it was Sam S who served me and he was most helpful and accommodating. Some searching the stock on an upper floor was called for but he remained calm and willing. The result was that I purchased a ukulele, two books and a bag plus the confidence to return for perhaps a more upmarket instrument when I become more proficient Thank you.

Great place and one of those rare breeds: a great local high street shop. Please use these guys before even thinking of going online.
Not bad but can be annoying in that you are pestered when trying out guitars. "So what do you think?". Well, I don't know yet as I've only been playing the thing for a few minutes! Staff are nice and friendly but just need to stand back and leave you be for longer. Range is not bad for small shop.
