Following our Mum's passing last year, her ashes were placed in our Dad's grave in Newport Cemetery, Lincoln. This was her last wish. I rang Drapers and spoke with Ian Draper who, from start to finish, was professional but also kind and easy to talk to. I asked if Mum's details could be added to the stone and a general tidy-up undertaken. Ian later rang me back with a very fair quote and informed me that as they were very busy, the work could not start until after Christmas. This was absolutely fine. Last week, Ian rang to say the work was complete and he hoped we would be pleased with everything. My brother and I are in fact delighted. Mum's name has been been inscribed perfectly, the green stones cleaned and an additional supply added, and the area which had to be opened for the urn has been sealed. In addition, the headstone and kerbside have been beautifully cleaned. The grave looks as good as new! We are so very pleased with the work and also the kind and sensitive way Ian, and another gentleman who works at Drapers with whom I spoke, has dealt with this. We cannot recommend Drapers highly enough. Thank You.I would finally like to add that Drapers originally provided Dad's gravestone back in 1966. Proof of the quality 53 years on!
