Lovely site close to the city center an easy walk in or the bus stop just down the road. Toilets and showers could do with updateing but the were clean and warm
Very good small quiet site. Showers and the toilet block pleasantly warm. Great area for walks and 2 miles from Lincoln city.
Nice no frills camp site in a very convinient location. The wardens are very friendly and helpful and keep the toilet block very clean. The toilet block is quite old but is very clean and warm and everything works. 32 pitches and 1 camping pod. Most pitches are on flat grass with a couple of hard standings (mainly reserved for less able bodied campers). Campers are provided with park entry barrier codes and the gate to the site itself is kept locked with a combination lock to improve security. Located within a small country park with brilliant children's play area and well defined paths around the ornamental lake. There is a cafe right outside the site entrance too. Not open during the winter (except Christmas Market weekend). Would definitely come again.
Absolutely loved this small site. All the park wardens/rangers were very friendly, and helpful, gave loads of info about the park, bus and taxi service, and where the nearest shops where. Met some great fellow campers. We didn't explore all the park, so can't wait to return. Excellent value for money.
Who knew? What a lovely little site... very welcoming, nice venue with the lakes and park a few paces away...includes an adventure park for the kiddies... and Lincoln city centre / cathedral / castle a short bus or drive away!
