Two venues (next to one another) that have a mixed bag of programming. The biennial "Opem" showcases up and coming talent (and commissions them to make new work) - this is brilliant and of a high quality. Occasionally they show top level contemporary art (solo shows by George Shaw and Cornelia Parker come to mind). In bed of more funding though.
A magnificent building for a Wonderful collection of Art. Just visited an exhibition of local artists which was very good and well subscribed. Its nice to see local arts being displayed in such grand setting.

Great museum for families/kids free entry lots to see & do, nice cafe & gift shop on site, toilets are clean & outdoor seating in the summer for the cafe, nice seating out the front with benches on a big hill with views of Lincoln, see if you can spot the item hanging from the ceiling which has been made of plastic items found on a beach
Lovely place. Beautiful collection. Well worth a visit.
